He’s smart. He is dear. He is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and nights committing them.. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. he replaces his father in some shots, because the two look incredibly similar. Visible during the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.. Dexter Morgan: I lived in darkness for a long time. Over the years my eyes adjusted, until darkness became my world and I couldn’t see.. Presented at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Performed by Rolfe Kent. Despite so many seasons, no one will feel bored or disconnected. An impressive and outstanding series.
