After receiving an unexpected call from her inventor ancestors, Moana must journey to the distant seas of Oceania and dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike any other. Auli’i Cravalho reveals whether she’s Team Heihei or Team Pua and reveals fun facts about her co-star Dwayne Johnson. It was originally intended to be a television series in 2020, with plans to air on Disney+. In February 2024, the series was made into a theatrical sequel. [trailer clip] Moana: Maui?
