Episode 1 set it up
Narrative
Stranded on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and band together in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. Based on the book Stinger (1988) by Robert McCammon. Referenced in Korman Productions’ Deep Dive TV podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 “Think About the Bubbles”/”My Little Lighthouse” (2024).
Episode 3 had us hooked
The cast is being introduced. Not bad but not super compelling. In Episode 2, we got more information and it definitely got more interesting as events began to unfold.
We’re huge fans of From
More events follow to give us a little more information about the scope of this, if anyone else is affected. The idea of a good guy and a bad guy is introduced. Even my teenage daughters watch with us, trying to figure out what’s going on in the world.
It’s not From
But it’s a horror, thriller, mystery show. It’s a show all its own. Try to finish the first 3 episodes before you log off to see if it can hook you.
